Adelaide’s annual Credit Union Christmas Pageant is just around the corner, which means Christmas isn’t too far off either!
At 9.30am on Saturday 12 November, the whistle will blow to signal the beginning of the pageant.
For many South Australian families Pageant Day marks the start of the festive season as crowds of thousands lining the 3.3km route watch on in anticipation for the arrival of Santa Clause himself. Over 172 bright and colourful sets, including floats, marching bands, dancers, clowns and fairies will entertain thousands of people as they welcome in the Christmas cheer.
At the end of Adelaide’s much loved Christmas Pageant, Santa Clause will make his way to the Magic Cave at David Jones. Here, he’ll wait to have his photo taken and note all your Christmas wishes (whether you’ve been naughty or nice).
We hear it begins to feel a lot like Christmas on Pageant Day, so pack your picnic blankets and get in early because Santa Clause is coming to town!
