Getting to KI

By ferry

Kangaroo Island’s vehicle and passenger ferry service, SeaLink, operates daily between Cape Jervis on the Fleurieu Peninsula and Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Operating two large vehicle and passenger ferries, the crossing takes 45 minutes, signalling the beginning of your holiday!

By coach

Mainland coach return connections are available twice daily to/from Adelaide to Cape Jervis, to meet up with SeaLink ferries. Goolwa/Victor Harbor coach transfers are also available three times a week.

By air

Regular daily flights service Kangaroo Island from Adelaide Airport. In just 30 minutes you can be at Kangaroo Island Airport, 14 kilometres from the main town on Kingscote. Rex Regional Express offers daily flights to and from Kangaroo Island. QantasLink operate flights from both Adelaide and Melbourne.

Flinders Chase National Park

Flinders Chase National Park is home to two iconic landmarks. A network of walking trails and boardwalks of varying levels of difficulty criss-cross Kangaroo Island’s parks. The trails provide access to some of the most rugged spectacular landscapes in Australia.

Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks’

Located in Flinders Chase National Park, Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks’ are iconic to the island. Admirals Arch frames Long-nosed fur seals basking on a rocky shoreline. Watch the fierce ocean swells of Western Kangaroo Island Marine Park from the safety of the boardwalk and viewing platform. Remarkable Rocks’ surreal beauty has been sculpted by the elements over 500 million years. Definitely worth the visit for a photo op!

Kelly Hill Caves
